Alan Harvey, LMSW
New York-Based Psychotherapist
Hi, I’m Alan!
Hi, I’m Alan (He/Him)! I am a queer, Latino therapist licensed in New York and working at The Sexuality, Attachment, and Trauma Project (SAT Project) in NYC.
My therapy sessions are a place where we can dig deep into your life and explore the emotions and patterns that impact you today. I specialize in issues surrounding sex and intimacy, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I proudly work with artists and members of the LGBTQ+ community!
Let’s Do This Together!
We’ll co-create a supportive and non-judgmental space for us to explore and understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I’ll work to help you express yourself openly, foster self-discovery and promote your mental and emotional well-being.
With my support, you’ll gain valuable insights, develop coping strategies, and acquire tools to navigate life's challenges effectively. We’ll work to address immediate concerns and also promote long-term personal growth and resilience.
I don’t take the same approach with every client, so we’ll join together and tailor an approach specifically for you. That might mean diving deep into your past experiences, learning skills, or even walking together through Central Park. We’ll work together to create a safe environment for your healing, growth, and empowerment!
